Focus on accessible pages, clear evidence and useful answers while measuring AI visibility cautiously.
Start with the existing search foundations
Google’s guidance for AI features points site owners back to established search requirements and useful content. There is no special schema type or guaranteed inclusion method that turns an ordinary article into an AI recommendation. Read the current Google AI features guidance before buying claims about secret requirements.
Make the answer easy to verify
State the question clearly and answer it directly. Explain conditions, limitations and sources. If the page describes your service, include actual scope and evidence of work. If it compares options, make the comparison criteria visible.
A real example is more useful than a paragraph that repeats a keyword. Label illustrative calculations as examples, and distinguish a screenshot of an AI answer from a repeatable ranking result.
Keep facts consistent across your pages
Business identity, contact details, service descriptions and ownership information should agree across the site. Correct contradictory claims before adding more content. Make important information available as readable text, with meaningful image descriptions where appropriate.
Measure with context
If you record an AI mention, save the platform, date, exact query and visible answer. Results can vary by session, location and product changes. One favourable screenshot does not establish a stable position or prove that an optimisation caused it.
Use referral and enquiry data where available. Keep observed mentions separate from clicks, qualified leads and revenue. The wider SEO programme should remain accountable to useful discovery and business outcomes.
